Torrents, television and tourists
So someone’s been sharing my fanclub, CWH content and SG stuff on torrents. THANKS SO MUCH. Ass.
Its stressful seeing stuff like this on torrents. Especially when I work so hard to make it high-quality and interesting. I feel like I deserve a bit more than having it taken off me and shared around for free. If any of you see this content around, please let me (or CWH staff) know so it can be taken down ASAP. And please don’t share my (our!) stuff around. Or otherwise all the worry will age me and I’ll get all wrinkly and gray! Eww! Also content-stealers get caught eventually and end up paying the price. Its happened with someone who was sharing my stuff once before.
ANYWAY… right now I’m eating canneloni and watching NightRider on TV. Greek TV seems to be half in english and half in greek. Its interesting how bilingual this country has become. The Turkish and Venetian invasions never had them speaking turkish or italian, but wave some tourist dollars at them and they learn english within one generation! Athens is so tourist-orientated. Its almost embarrasing. Whenever I wander around by myself I don’t get it too badly, but I’m travelling with a couple of other students and as soon as they see the red hair on one of my friends they all start yelling “Xallo! You want Koffee? Something to eet?” I’ve taken to saying “no thanks!” in greek rather than english. If you reply in english it just makes it worse. I try to avoid the places with touts. Its the only way you can really discourage it I guess. Speak with your euro. But its hard in Athens. EVERYTHING is for the tourists, even in winter!
Hence the eating in tonight. I got grumpy. I leave Athens in the morning anyway.
