So as you guys might be able to tell by my ‘updated cam’ picture… I’m heading out.
I’ve loved camming and its given me SO MANY opportunities, but all good things must come to an end. I’m stable enough now that I can stop camming and just work on graduating. My workload at school is crazy and I really just need to focus on my career. I have about 5months of school left and after that… who knows! I may even be back!
You can still catch me on Suicidegirls and also I’ve uploaded one last zip file for you guys (if its not there yet check back in a day or so, I’m waiting for staff to approve it). My hospital adventure
So… if this isn’t a good excuse for not being around the past few days I dunno what is!
I’m writing about this online because whenever I tell anyone of my close family/friends that I was in hospital they FREAK OUT. This way I get to talk about my experience without spending the whole time assuring people over and over again that I’m alright.
Most of you know that I’ve had heart surgery because I was born with a hole in my heart (which is why I have scars on my chest). Well, on Sunday (Saturday in US time). I was getting all these crazy weird heartbeats. Like my heart was having a little party in my chest. It was making me a bit dizzy and because it was a Sunday, I couldn’t go to my GP because they were closed. So I went to the hospital figuring they’d do a cardiograph and just check that nothing was wrong.
Anyway, they got my history and they did a cardiograph and one of the heart palpitations registered on that so I was admitted.
Here’s me hooked up to some fun machines (I named my drip ‘drippy’ and my heart monitor ‘Bob’). Staying positive as always.
The stickers on my chest where the wires hook up to gave me a rash. So now I have little red circles all over me. They were SO itchy too! And the drip hurt like hell. My mum told the nurse and she took it out because apparently it was only fluids and wasn’t really necessary anyway. I love my mum. She always sticks up for me.
It was really scary in the ER and then in the ICU because I had no idea what to expect. The doctor there was about my age, and SO damned professional and sexy. Ahem. She hooked me up to a heart monitor and took some blood and tested my blood pressure and temperature and weight (64kg, the same weight I’ve been for the last 5yrs) and got an xray and asked me SO many questions.
I had to take out my nipple piercings for the xray and after a couple of hours I snuck off to the bathroom to try and put them back in. It seems, however, that the piercings have already healed up in the middle of my nipples and I can’t get them back in again! At first I was SO dissapointed, but then I realised that if my body was so desperate to heal those piercings up… maybe I shouldn’t have them at all. So RIP to my piercings. Looking down right now my nipples look the same as they did before I ever got them pierced. They’ve almost completely healed up and its only been 48hrs since I took them out! Crazy, right?
All the tests for infection came back negative and they gave me a cup of fizzygood to drink (my potassium was low, which I’m beginning to suspect may have been the issue all along). And then moved me into the cardio ward for overnight heart monitor monitoring.
Anyway, without going on and on and on about what a great time I had and how not-scary this whole experience was (*cough*) they decided that the heart flutterings I was feeling are nothing new and they have no idea why I can feel them now when I’ve never been able to before. They told me if I get more than one or two in a row to come straight back to hospital because that’s BAD. But they didn’t record more than one in a row the whole time I was on the heart monitor and I’ve never felt more than one in a row before, so its all ok.
And I’m seeing my cardiologist ASAP.
And putting my fishnet top on to cam today because my piercings used to always get caught in the fishnets and now I don’t have that problem anymore! See? Silver lining
Anyway, this is why I wasn’t online yesterday. But at least there’s this interesting blog post to make up for it, right? lol
PS: Gotta love free healthcare. Just sayin’.

Kitties, homework and knitting
My kitty has ‘feline cystitis’ and her bladder got a tear in it last night! I was so upset, but she had an operation to fix it up and they got all the crystals out of her bladder. Poor little thing. She’s going to have to be on a special diet for the rest of her life… I’m not sure what to do with my other cat now though. If one’s on a normal died (mix of dry and tinned food) and the other is only allowed special no-crystal food, how do I manage feeding them? Still trying to figure out that one. I might have to give away my other cat. But sick kitty is the one I love the most. She’s so wonderful – hugs me all the time and gets excited when I come home. She’s like a little puppy. I miss her so much, she’s been at the vet for almost a week now. I’m thinking about visiting her today, is that lame?
This is my first day without a bucketload of uni assignments this month. I don’t know what to do with myself. I keep wandering around the house and wondering… what was it I used to do around here? Before homework took over my life…
I’ve started knitting too! Its suprisingly fun. I’m a big fidgeter and I hate it when I’m not achieving anything. Like sitting in lectures and there’s no notes to write, or waiting for classes to start, or sitting on the bus… now I can actually get something done during those times! Its suprisingly satisfying.
